PSC full hydro steering on a D60/39.5 Iroks. Steering on the street feels sticky in the center. I have to "bump" the wheel to get it to turn. It goes down the road straight, but if I have to make a very minor correction...it sticks, then turns. This makes for a scary ride considering how much this rig body rolls! Does this sound like a toe-in adjustment, air in lines, or is it just the way hydro is gunna feel?

Thats not normal for full hydro. Check to make sure your steering shaft u-joint is not binding. I fixed the exact same problem with my friends TJ. My setup is same as yours. It's super smooth and easily drives on the street.

I think I understand the problem you are having. I had the same problem on my original setup. The steering worked, but almost like you had to bump it to get it turning. Turned out to be a bad steering unit for me. If nothing else seems to be binding, that might be the case. I'd also try to call PSC if you can get them on the phone.

Its a ford/chevy hybrid 60. I used an 02 superduty dana 60 housing and inner C with chevy style BJ outer knuckles from solid axle. The spindle/hub/rotors are from an 85 chevy dana 60 and the dual piston calipers are from the superduty. The BJs are moog and running strong after 2 years. I'll pm you some pics. Jay.

Rams definitely not bent. Could be the shaft u-joint. Continued bleeding is helping too. Every time I drive it now, I jack up the front end and turn it lock to lock several times. It's improving.

If your steering shaft is supported by heim joints make sure they are well lubricated. Mine did the same thing that yours does. I just greased the joints and now it's smooth and easy.
