anyone else have this thought? I will stay the same temp :D jeep has no heater and is low effort. and dirt bike requires me to stay warm by working hard. (adding to that....ya think it'll even be cold?)

on top of that...who else wants to ride? sluice in say 25 mins or less :D

Silly, I was thinking about the same thing. Especially since I have a complete camping set up for the bike.

We can probably hit the nooks and crannies off the trail a bit easier too. Gherle creek, Wentworth springs entrance, etc.

Anyone else want to form a bike brigade for the clean up?

Let's ride!

Later.

Jimmy

Oh that's right. The clean up is in mid October this year right? Brrrrrrrr. :D

Remember how cold it was in 2000? Gawd Damn!

I'm still thawing out from that adventure. That wasn't a clean up, that was cryogenics 101.

I guess well have to wait and see huh?

Later.

Jimmy

I did it in 2000 and it sucked, On top of freezin my ass off I had to haul too much shat in my back pack (I even made two trips) because my friends rigs were too loaded down already....

The Rubicon is the WORLDS WORST dirt bike trail !
But I'd do it again in a heat beat if I had a trials bike :)

I have ridden the rubicon 2x's and I think to Spider is fun but after that the fun ends for the most part.

yea 2k SUCKED ASS. I think I'd be warmer on my bike cause it would only take a few mins getting from loon to spyder to the campfires or some form of heat....and then only take a few mins to get back to the truck :D

I'll be putting most of my junk in a buddy's rig. then taking in only the  essentials :D in my back pack.

I'm from new england so every trail I went riding on was just like rubicon but w/ more roots and water :D So rubicon looks like a nice ride to me.

anyways we'll play it by ear.

My worst part of riding in at 2000 was with a case of beer in my back pack I endo over the bars and land right on my back, breakin 3 beers and getting my ass all wet.... nothing is worse than a wet from beer monkeybutt, other than putting those same pants back on the next day

crashing is not an option :D I actually quit crashing back in '94

I lost a knee cap I've broken my collar bone 2x I've broken damn near every rib. I seriously made a decision not to crash and it has worked. :D just make the same decision man :D

If you are not crashing you are either 1) not trying hard enough or 2) still sober:flipoff2:

These are the only two pics I have right now. Keith Strong was ripp'n huge wheelies up and down my street about 10:30 pm Friday night. Pretty cool see'n it buzz by about 60MPH with the headlight shooting up in the trees. hehehehehe

Yeah, it's a bit of a pig. But I got the best of both worlds now. Consolodated two bikes into one and put some cash in the pocket. Still fun to ride and lighter than it looks. Gobs of power (understatement) Gunna do some serious dual sportring soon. Got desert? :flipoff2:

Still up in the air. My wife is going to a party out of town this weekend. It all depends on if I can convince her to take BOTH the kids. :D
