why would my airbag light stay on? ive recently had the batt unplugged to swap a radiator n other junk.....now i noticed my lights on...is it a fuse or something?

I winched about 7 vehicles in a row up a hill. Afterwards, my airbag light came on and didn't go off for several days. Why? Hasn't been on since.

Airbag light is one of the first indicators that your batt is low on charge. Once system come back upto normal it will go away. I've had the same problem when doing alot of winching.

Could have broken the clockspring, have you tried using the horn? IIRC, if it breaks the light will come on and the horn won't work either. I had a 02 that did that, I bought the clockspring but sold the Jeep before I put it in. I still have the clockspring though if that ends up being your problem.

mine has been on ever since i took the plastic bumer cover off almost 4 years ago.

Nevermind. I googled it and found it. I guess I spun the wheel while hookinh up my hydro steering. oops

Check the fuse (Behind the glove box), If it is blown (either of the two fuses) it will give you a Air Bag light, I would check that first

if all else fails have a scan tool put on it, it will help to locate why the lights on, weather its a blows fuse or a short, it could be something as simple as needing it reset do to the bat being disconnected and reconnected and the code just needs to be cleared

you can ether go to the dealer or auto zone to have it checked and cleared
