Locally they want $137 w/tax for a 20' stick of 1.5"x120".

www.metalsdepot.com's pricing beats them no doubt. Anywhere in the SE I should look instead?

2.25"x.120"x20'= $155.00 x 1
2"x.120"x20'= $122.80 x 8
1.5"x.120"x20'= $122.10 x5

The lengths are approximate, the 2.25" is going to be cut down the length and used to double the thickness of the 2" tube where it can contact stumps/logs/rocks/imports.

I picked 2" because 1.75"x.120" is $173.40 a stick.

The 2.25"x.120" may be subsituted for 2" sch 40 pipe (.154" wall) at $98.07 for a 21' stick.

seems kinda high if i remember right i got my sticks at $110 .120 wall 1.75" back when steel was real high this winter

How much is high? That's delievered prices, given the quantity.

If we're talking a buck a stick, it's not worth it. If we're talking a buck a foot or more, then it might be worth it.
