I have been reading on the mud tech here and thought id post my rig on here and no its not a ten feet high thousand horsepower machine just what works where i go wheeling. It has a fairly hot 390 i put together 4 speed divorced 205 with shackle flip in the back and rear springs with a 2 inch block on the front which was alot cheaper than $500 lift springs and moved the front end forward 3 inches giving me the clearance i needed for the 38s. It's not done yet (hence no front driveshaft in the pic) but its only been in progress about a month now.

The picture is a red x
And just FYI the front lift block is not a good idea at all. Its cheaper but if you'll wish you have paid the $500 for new springs if it causes a huge failure of your front end. Just a warning, youre putting yourself and others in danger.

I have been warned about lift blocks but i trailer the truck everywhere and didnt know if 2 inch would make the problems i've heard about happen or not it's still in the build stage so I might just build new hangers. Thanks for the warning though.

i agree with bigdusty
i used 2in blocks in the front for a quick fix
so my headers would not rub my new tires , within a few runs they were
crushed , twisted and dangerous !!
good luck with your build !

Looks like a fun build. Definatly get rid of the blocks as soon as you can, and build a set of front hangers, or have your front springs re-arched. It isnt a permanent fix, but it will work for awhile until the springs start to settle again
