Does anyone know about moving a brake booster and master cylinder to a remote location on a 95 k 1500? I've looked around on some hotrod sites, b ut didn't find much info. The issue is a solid axle conversion that would locate my upper coil over mounts directly where the master cylinder is located. I figure I've come this far with the project, and if there is a way to move the booster and master cylinder, I would do it. I figured the pirate crew would have some thought s on this topic.

they make reverse hung masters that put the booster and master under the dash, do i know if they make one for your vhl i have no clue, they also make masters that bolt to the frame and the petal come up through the floor. this will most likely need some fab so, i am pretty sure this is goin to have to be a all custom thing so get fabbing.

I saw some stuff about mounting the MC and booster under the seat, but I don't think I have the space, anything I end up figuring out is definately going to take some fab. If anyone has any other ideas, or even just a product name that might steer me in the right direction, please leave it so I can do a search on it and hopefully find what I need. Thnx

I've seen hydroboost mounted on a 45* or 90* bracket with a bell crank. I don't know if Vanco is still on the board, but you might look him up and see if he has any info on years and apps.

Dodge vans from the '70's with power brakes have a 90* bracket that points the master/booster towards the right side of the firewall.
There used to be a company that sold remote booster/master cylinders for hotrods into the '90's,I think they busted ,but they used to make them for bigger trucks and on all '40's bigger then 1 ton GM trucks seem to have them hanging on the side .They are rebuildable .They require a small master to be mounted to the firewall ,as a master cylinder ,then the remote acts as a slave to master cylinder (it has both in one )to boost the line pressure.

Yes, I sell remote mounted hydroboosts, you can mount them anywhere and activate them with a clutch cylinder.
