454 performance

So im posting this here and in towing forum. Our towrig is a 1994 Chevy 3500 Crewcab dually 454/4l80E/ 4.10s. its a tbi motor and is quite awesome on bottom end. the problem is when you get it loaded it #1 gear hunts and #2 lacks a lil higher rpm power. So this is my question

What type so chips are out there for this motor. The JET 6pack looks decent but no claims on power. and i know programmers are out.....

please help me

GMPP 454ss hot cam, edelbrock BB tbi intake, maybe a GOOD set of headers(I like manifolds for a driver rig)

I'd put a (towing/r/v) shift kit in it first

Shift kit, then start with a cam and bigger injectors. I believe www.tbichips.com can burn you whatever you want, but I have heard mixed results about his work. However, he's the only one I know of that offers tuning for TBI's.

anyone ever use jet products?
