Can anyone see any reason to use 2x4 tubing any thicker than .120 for the rear xmember?

And what thickness should I make my side skins out of? I was thinking 3/16ths but maybe 1/8 will happen..

What rear x member?? One to attach a traction bar onto, or the rear bumper/crossmember?
.120 Wall should be plenty for either.....
What kind of side skins?
Neither of these requests compute.
Sounds like a fawkin' newbie question!!!!!!!!

Both of mine are 2x2 .120......

My side skins are 3/16ths and I can't dent them....

Yep, thats me :flipoff2:

Rear Bumper/Xmember...
Skins will be similar to Nolen's except I will still be using the rear diamond plate because I am lazy ;)

The trac bar center x member should be easy..
