10 AM is the meet up time correct?

I may be waiting on a few people so I might not get there until 10:30-11. Bringing my 4runner and at least one pickup in case we find some big stuff that needs to be hauled out.

Weather says its supposed to rain tomorrow but its been kind of on or off all day here so I don't think it will be bad at all if its anything like today.

So, who all is going to be there?

We will be at the Chevron Station (Black H3, Black FZJ80) at 9:30.

If anyone is unsure about who to get there, please be on time, we have to be at the creek bed by 10AM.

Drive SLOWLY/SAFELY along Buckeye Rd. Recent rain will make it slick and susceptible to tread damage.


We are meeting down at the Buckeye Road Crossing of Greenhorn Creek at 10AM.

We have all needed supplies, remember to bring plenty of fresh drinking water and pack your lunch, gloves, boots, hats and safety glasses.

It will rain, so be prepared for weather. We will have an eze-up in place with a propane heater for you to come and dry-off or warm up.

We will need you to sign in and sign out for the day, so make sure if you don't see us in the morning, bring your filled trash bags to the easy up around lunchtime (for pictures :-).We'll be set up near VIP (near the southern boundary)

I lost internet so this is coming late. I am on my blackberry. My GF is moving today and one of her family members had to back out in helping her so I am her backup and on my way to help her. Sorry. Its really snowing at my house I hope everyone is safe.

Well i am home now, how was it? I am tempted to go down there now but i don't know if anyone would be there.

It was actually pretty clean. I was expecting a fair amount of trash since the Fun Fest was last weekend but we had a bit of a hard time actually finding trash :D

My group of 4 did manage to fill one large size trash bag as well as 2 smaller house sized trash bags. We found a few misc auto trim pieces, 3/4s of a bumper, a blasted computer monitor and some pretty big pieces of rusty old scrap steel. Otherwise I was definitely impressed with how clean the area was.

We lost track of time and had to split quick status around 3 because my gf had to work at 4 tonight, otherwise we would have stopped back at the tent to say bye. Good seeing you again Bebe, talking to you definitely made me a little more optimistic about GH's future, it was looking pretty glum there for a while.

Pretty good turn out, and the weather ended up being pretty nice.

Yea, sorry we couldn't stick around longer! Beem had to get to work and I've got about 30 hours worth of paperwork I have to get done for work, on my own time, by Wednesday morning. Coffee time!

I'd never been out there before. Cool place. I sure as hell hope that we can keep it around as I wouldn't mind exploring the spot some more when I've got enough time to actually get around and see it. We didn't go downstream at all, past where the Honda was. (Didja end up getting it out?)

We had a fairly small team:

Those babies picked up more shells and little pieces than has ever been done before.

Some folks showed up late just to come and support FOG and find out what we are up to.

Dan hauled out the Auto Parts, dumped by someone obviously too lazy to take their crap to the dump.

Everyone else took a 55 gal bag or two of trash.

And it was a bunch cleaner that I thought it would be.

That's a GOOD thing.

Oh and I forgot to mention, Hansens moved their signs up to the Tahoe property line (surely at the behest of TNF and the NCSO), so we couldn't drive to the VIP campground, we had to walk.

The South team picked up everything they could, except for the stuff that couldn't be carried. Shot up TV and some other large junk.

Oh well, guess it will just have to stay there. :mad3:
