is it a front or rear? most d44 fronts already have a beefy cover on them (scouts don't). when i went to a 14bolt rear i just welded metal to the diff cover to strengthen it in areas prone to rock damage. if you have the 4wheeler wit the ttc in it mine looks very simular to how the green blazer did his 14bolt cover. anyway you could do it to a d44 too. i would tack the piece on heat it, form it, tack it, heat it, form it, weld it, etc until i got it where i wanted it. this was the cheap wayand it works.

I run one from 4xdoctor. Good quality, and about 60.00 if I remember right.

His do look killer and it seems a reasonable price for the beefy-ness of it. I may get one someday.
