I got on J.C. Whitney's website to order the 7 leaf heavy duty waggy springs. I was under the impression that these were for a Grand Wagoneer??? If you click on the Grand Wagoneer under the jeep section, it does not come up with leaf springs, but if you click on just Wagoneer, then it comes up with several different leaf packs. Are the Wagoneer 7 pack heavy duties the ones I want to push my axles out 2" in both directions, or is there a way to find Grand Wagoneer leafs???????? Just want to clarify before I drop $400 on these. Thanks.

In the catalog, they are listed as:
76-92 Cherokee,Wagoneer, Pickup
stk. no. 07UY2048P

Sounds like that is what I am looking at, except I am looking at internet part#'s, and I did notice that they have the same part# listed for the Cherokee front 7 leaf packs. This is what I am getting under wagoneer on their website:

1976 - 1992
Jeep
Wagoneer
Front Leaf Spring, 7 Heavy-duty Leaves
Each
07ZX2048P
$ 99.95



That part# is the same, except this one has "ZX" instead of "UY".
So I guess I just misunderstand the whole Grand Waggy, waggy part of it.

shouldn't be 400 bucks should it? unless you are getting 4 of them.

I was thrown off by the same thing. The waggy springs that everyone talks about in JC are listed under 'wagoneer', not 'grand wagoneer'.

That's because they are the same thing with a different name. Jeep came up with an "upscale" version of the XJ Cherokee in the mid-80's and called it a Wagoneer. The name of the fullsize Wagoneer was changed to Grand Wagoneer that year. Nothing changed but the name.
