Outta here and back to Greenwood as soon as the opportunity presents itself...
Here's my current rig, not much more than a light trail runner and pushes my plow in winter. She's bone stock underneath:
http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e235/gr8twhite/truck/Picture022.jpg
First thing we did when it got home was hit it with the compound and buffer:
http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e235/gr8twhite/truck/Picture024.jpg
I've got plans for experimenting with some high angle custom CV shafts, a long (er) travel IFS and a cosmetic refresh, but not really much in the way of serious off roading. Besides, it's as long as a house!
I'd like to find an old Scout II like I used to have when I was a young 'un to build up as a trail rig and the Silverado can haul it.
This one isn't mine from times gone by, but pretty close. Right down to the color:
http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e235/gr8twhite/Art_TX_79Scout_RR.jpg
I've got a 73 frame, body and 304/727 drivetrain hidden away in Waverly should I choose to build one, but that old parts truck is pretty raunchy....
I'd also consider building up a Bronco II, original Bronco's are impossible to find and waaayyy overpriced if you do.
something like this:

(best pic I could find of what I'd do)
