Winter sucks, the cold sucks, and I think I might loose my job. But other than that, things are going great.

With work slowing down daily, I don't dare spend money on anything but the necessities. So the truck will just sit there a little longer I guess.:shaking:

There are a few spots that are kinda scenic but finding a place to wheel in VT are few and far between.

So what you're saying by the "necessities" is you have been buying parts, right?
Sorry to hear about work. Its been cold as Falk here, and I got snowed in today and couldn't get out of the driveway due to a 3' drift. So I got a day to sit around and spend cash on truck parts. See you in June. Kyle

Ah nope. Fuel oil.. Not many parts being bought right now.

I will admit I wasted 5-months doing nothing really, but in that time I went thru a few unexpected issues in my life that I never saw coming. And once things turned for the better, worked slowed down almost over night!!

The plan was to have everything I needed by March 1st, I will try to hold onto that idea for as long as I can, but I will not buy anything if I am on unemployment.

The hardest part for me is to hold true to what I want from this project, the one thing that always bugged me about my other truck was, I never had patience enough when building it to do it the way wanted too.

This one can't and won't be done that way. And trust me its killing me almost everyday just letting it sit there.

I know there has got to be places to wheel around here, just not where I live(Northfield). I am not a mud guy anymore, and my last ruck was never street legal.

So to load it up on the trailer to go wheel with stock trucks just wasn't happening. Around here and where I go in NY, you have to drive on the road at some point to go from trail to trail, and my truck would have made a cop "oh so happy" if you know what I mean.

Where do you live? I will keep you informed if the group I go with go out for another trail ride (won't be for a while though).

There are some really good trails in NH. but the guys over there are very protective of their trails (and I can't blame them one bit), I really need to get my ass in gear and become memeber so I can't atleast help keep them open.

Imagineer, and KAZ on here have a really tight group of hardcore guys they go with, but you to "or should" become a memeber to be able to go with them.

Maybe they will chime in here and correct me if i'm wrong. I hope I didn't make them upset saying anything. Wade

So VT is bringing the suck work wise, eh? Maybe I should stick around out here{Wyoming} for a bit longer, Where I'm at now we have at least 5-6 yrs of work lined up and we just keep getting more orders. Fuel is still around 1.30 a gal and you don't here the word unemployment.

Thanks Jason, I really feel for ya man. We are very fortunate that our bills are low, no car payments and a pretty low mortgage.

And yes I will go any trip you invite me on!!

I wish Vt actually had LEGAL places to wheel, I hope the economy turns around so I can afford to go buy some property and build an off road park. Until then I will have to just settle for wheeling on my parents and friends property. I hope to do a few more things to my truck and get a tow rig then I am off for a wheeling vacation!

I dont know The wheelin spots but once a year I get a Vermont trip going. Usualy start at the bottom of VT and take rt 100 all the way up through. The only plan is that there is no plan. My friends and I ran into this guy named tiger along the way last year and ended up stacking wood for a half hour or so in exchange for wheelin on his land, he had some cool rigs 40' 2 1/2 ton with dual steering axles and what not. Anyway maybe we could get a trip togeather and find some wheelin spots i hear the power lines are a good run.
