I posted this in the "non-hardcore" section but haven't had a single response.

I bought a 92 Wrangler with a replaced 2.5 MFI engine in it. I think it may have come from a newer TJ because the fuel rail has no return line or regulator on it. The jeep runs but runs bad!!! It's running way rich, too much fuel pressure because it has no regulator nor a return line. Finding a fuel rail has proven to be impossible!!! Any ideas on a fuel rail or how to set up my fuel system with the existing rail??? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Buddy I ran into the same problem doing a v8 swap in a yj. My way around it was splicing an efi aftermarket regulator into the lines mounted onto the chassis. then just shorten your oe return line and plumb it to the return port on the regulator. I bought mine from Jegs, I'm thinking it ran about $150.00. Hope this helps.

It does help, thanks! I think i'll keep looking for a fuel rail from an older YJ 2.5 and swap it. Does anyone know if this will create any new problems, or is it as simple as it seems? Thanks!
