How's the new rig coming Mat?

The new rig is coming along nicely but slowly. I've having to do some rework to make suspension seats fit. The last two weeks also have been a little slow on the progress due to being busy at work and spending all my spare shop time plowing the driveway or fixing the plow truck.

Now that I think about it, I do have a lot to do on the buggy since I like to do things right. Maybe tomorrow I will make the "to do" list so I have a realistic idea if it will make the KOH qualifier.

Unfortunately, I likely won't have time to do much if any high speed testing...

Are you going to enter the qualifier?

I'll be going for sure IF my new motor arrives in time for me to get it in and make all the changes needed. It will require a few changes, and I'm kinda in that rock and a hard place spot where I don't want to shortcut, but I also don't want to do hugely extensive modifications since I'll probably going to an entirely new chassis in '10 (although that will be a sad day as the Wolf has been kickin' it for 11 years now!)

What are you thinking as far as new chassis? buy or build? What style? 4 seater I assume? After your famous welding and suspension bracketry, I would love to see your tube bending...:flipoff2:

By the way, is NHTTI on your list of events this year?

Haven't decided on buy or build yet. Def. 4-seater. NHTI is on the list, but canl;t find any info on dates for this year or if it's even on.

As for my welding / bending skills - I'll never claim to be a pro - but you shouldn't pay tooo much attention to what you read on the internet! :flipoff2:

Just re-registered after a year or so away, thot I'd say high. Live north of Bowmanville (Blackstock) gotta 88 Runner SR5
up about 8" on 35's....mostly a crap can as it's been ridden hard and put away wet ...seriously it has taken a beating since I got it.

Also my DD is a Tracker 3" suspension and 31/12.5's.....
these trucks need rocker guards (snicker, don't tell my wife where I go whit it)

Any clubs in the Simcoe area or does anyone have info on the lift laws for Ontario?

I got a 91 YJ with a 6.0L lq4, 700r4, np241c. waggy dana 44s underneath with disc brake conversions done, Im picking up a set of 39s to run, but can easily fit 44s. Its sprung over, 4" lift springs, 2" lift block in the rear, add-a-leaf to the front, 2" body lift.

I got 2" spacers on all 4 corners and the wheels are 14" wide to get a little stability, so i stick out a bit.
