I know I know, clubs are wicked stupid guy :flipoff2:

But as some of us know, in the Northeast its the best way to find the good trails.

Post up your clubs and a little info about them.

I'll start,

Northeast Toyota Crawlers
www.toyotacrawlers.com

As the name suggests, this is a group of Toyota guys with every kind of build ranging from full out truggies to brand new stockers. Our main focus is Toyotas, but we allow other makes if you don't mind a little ribbing on our forums. (I'm the president and wheel a zuk :D )
We try to get out and wheel twice a month, mostly in MA, NH, CT. We are a member in EC4WDA and NEA4WDC so we have access to private trails not available to most. Dues are $50 per year, feel free to check out our forums and see if the club suits you. We allow 1 free run with us before requiring membership.

Rok-Freekz
www.rok-freekz.com

A smaller group of core wheelers that wheel around the Upstate, NY region (30 minutes west of Albany) We are open to all makes and levels of build, and wheel a few times a month. check out our forums to learn more about the group.

My club sucks but there's a club in Schoharie County. They're more into Muddin' than crawlin', but if the shoe fits.

On another note, I wonder if bitching to Lance about how it would only be fair to have even just an Eastern Regional Forum spiked the additional regional forums.

Anyways, Thanks Lance! I am happy now!

djk,

Those clubs all appear to be J**p specific. Got anything that will accept others? I'm local to you and always looking for something new!

Karl

i co-founded a club a few years ago that is open to anything (full-size rigs, trucks, atv's, bikes, etc) centered mostly in central pa.

http://www.limitlessoffroad.com

we just moved to a new forum structure with new software, so pardon the "transition" period we're going through right now.

karl,

either 3 of the clubs ive mentioned weclomes anykind of vehicle. true, the majority of vehicles are Jeeps, but theyre not jeep only. the club i belong to , baltimore 4 wheelers has some members that are non-jeep. just to name a few, one wheels a toyota, one wheels a ford Ranger (the club president), one wheels a buggy, ane we just had someone apply for membership at our last meeting that has an s-10 blazer.

hopt this helps.

I know a lot of you guys think that clubs are gay, stupid, etc. but clubs are a necessity to keep the sport and trails open for everyone. Not everybody lives in Bumfawk, USA, and some places don't have any legal trails within two or three hours, so when freelancers start 'wheeling any "good spots" without any concern for who the owner of the land is, that's when everybody starts getting kicked out and banned and trails whether public or private get closed, most of the time, for good, so it is thru organized clubs that we can get legitimate access to these places and actually help, not hurt the sport, not to mention the social benefits. I don't want to sound like a cry baby, but if you give it some thought you'll agree with me.
