Really? Have you thought about this at all?

Yes, but be carefull in regards to the center belt length "the one between the legs" if you have too much slack when your seat is adjusted one way or the other you can slide down and forward on the seat if your ever in some wierd accident.

The other mounts wont matter unless you NHRA or switching driver heights. They should be installed to certain length and angles behind your shoulders. So if your 6 foot 4 and they are installed in your best position when your 5 foot 3 girlfriend drives the shoulder belts wont be in the best place to protect her unless you build in a second set of should mounts or attachment point for them.

Sure, move the front hoop back and put the whole cage on sliders

Wow, the butthurtness is strong with this thread. The reason for the sarcasm is it's a dumb ass question asked in "HARDCORE" jeep forum. This is a non hardcore if not newb question. Use your head the answer is obvious.

I do know him and it was SARCASM!

I have my PRP seats mounted to the cage with thier adjustable sliders combined with 5 point harness. I do not adjust my side but I have the passenger ~ it takes a little while to then adjust the seat belts to fit.

should work pretty well. I saw someone's setup here that is basically tube slididers witha pin and holes on the cage base itself, eliminating the sliders. I mounted my seats for teh time being on the tub, but am redoing them sometime soon to install the 5 pointers.
