that all depends on where you are going to be working, what your looking for in the way of houses, schools and your budget and if you want to live in SA proper or on the outskirts. Shoot me a PM if you want.

I just moved here from Nashville in August. The North and NW side of town are the growing sections. Boerne to the Airport or Helotes isn't bad except 8ish or 5-6 PM.

To my knowledge, most of the wheeling is North up US 281 or West/NW out I-10.

Its a 95 wrangler, dana 60, 14 bolt, 5.38s welded rear spooled front, hydro assist, amc 304 on propane to amc turbo400, to dana 300 with reversed cherokee xj springs in the rear with an added main leaf for wheelbase. 38.5 swamper sx's

All it needs now is a front driveshaft,gonna redo the rear as well, shocks, harnesses (and preferably some better seats), tap the steering box for the assist, and I would also like to upgrade the front outer shafts to 35 spline before wheeling hard. Wanna add some tube to the cage too ---------------Kyle

i live in Spring Branch, which is about 25 miles north os san antonio. i have a 66 bronco, the only place i have been is katemcy. i plan on hitting cline and trees ranch this summer.

got a 2000 Dakota that was a mild wheeler (ifs)

now currently under a 1-ton swap and buildup.

only place i've been is spring creek, and had a good time. cant wait to hit up places like katemcy, cline, trees, satans....etc.

i'm from the northeast side of san antonio. currently building an 88 cherokee. the only wheeling any of my rigs have done is playing in the snow(when i was working up north), playing in the mud and running the beach. so don't really know anything about rock crawling yet but that's kind of the reason behind the jeep

Texas Tech is hosting the College weekend event at Katemcy on the 7-8th of March. We will be there if anyone wants to meet up. Need not be in college to apply. Everyone knows it has been a few years since I was.

Hey I am getting better at flipping it!!:DI found out I have problems going down stuff but have no problems going up stuff. LOL you should have been at Katemcy opening weekend and you could have watched me put it on it's lid on lower looney tunes (That last turn going down to the left with a quick right afterwards) and once again on hell and back... I just quit using the skinny petal :homer:and did fine. Made the Landcruiser weekend with no problems and no winching on all the hard trails!! Including Lower looney tunes and hell and back. Did every hard line on Billy Rays wall of Terror as well as the comp area. Still getting used to my rig though:laughing:I have issues with brakes as well as how my gas petal is mounted. Can't wait to see your new rig!! Share the video!! I though it was funny considering my Tranny went south that day. I built a bad ass TH350 with 700R4 1st 3.06 and 2nd 1.57 gears in it as well as a 300m 700 r4 sparq gear. It is real LOW now and a one of a kind th350. See Ya on the trails.
