Looks good, it's really startign to take shape now. Some flat tubing front fenders would look cool, and I'm not sure about the diamond plate....expanded metal mesh would kick arse on the floor, maybe with some rubber bedliner mat to keep you from getting sprayed, but could be removed to playing in the rocks, ultimate visibility!

expanded steel kicks ass...
ouple of problems i had with mine though.
1. Had to have the baby (6 months) in the back.. the stuff is sharp. Fixed by herculining it.
2. Had massive exhaust blow back coming into the cab. Ended up putting a solid floor in and re-aiming exhaust downtube to prevent it.
3. forget staying dry if you are driving on wet/muddy trails. them rear tires throw alot o chit up.! Not a problem for me seeing that we actually see rain like twice a year here. ;)
other than that.... visibility is awesome.

Mesh all the way baby! I'd just cover it with some rubber mats when you're running the road or on muddy trails, make sure you snap it down some how, wouldn't want a big rubber mat blowing up and smacking you in the face as you drive down the road. I think two or three pickup truck bed mats could easily be cut up to cover all the foor surfaces, oh, and use plexiglass for the sides! If you built your tube tub somewhat close to the original tub dimensions, maybe an early CJ rubber floor mat could be made to work.
