Don't forget about Big Meats in Disney, OK the 13th and 14th of March. There is suppose to be a drawing for prizes the 14th. Great time every year and not limited to a certain size tire anymore.

I'd love to make it to this, I've been watching it go by for years, and never can seem to make it, From the looks of it I won't be able yet another time, as my heep sits in the shop broken, If I were to make it I'd have a whole lotta work to get done... :shaking::shaking:

And here's the thread started in '09.http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=750341&highlight=big+meat I grew up in Miami, Ok, not too far from the lake and I spent quite a bit of time down at little blue and such. Watching the Macronesians catching fish with their hands (the locals will know what I mean). Little place up by the the entrance in Disney had the best fried chicken evaah. I used to wheel there a 'lil when I had my ole CJ-5 but as of now I don't have a rig. That place is a blast though with fun for the whole family and no matter what size of a wheeler. Had some scary times also when we climbed up the ladder to get on top of the main dam and the horn blew. But I'll save that story for some other time. :flipoff2:

My front end is torn apart right now and I've never finished the buggy transformation. Oh yeah, I don't have a steering pump right now either. Plenty of time to get it going though. Just wish it would warm up so I could work in the garage.

YEah as of lately thats Been my problem too, I just couldn't get myself motivated to go out to the good ole metal building, I swear those damn sheetmetal walls seem to make it colder, atleast theres no wind in there though. Well to get mine ready, I gotta redo my rear 4 link, and fit a back seat into the back, get some tires... really need to add some bumpstops and limit straps too, from there on I think most of the rest that needs done it pretty easy, oh hafta track down some fluid leaks too... :shaking:

It is a blast, if you like lots of people. I'm close to Disney, so I'm there quite a bit...don't mind waiting and watching every now and then. Just pushed the rig in the garage to drop in the new motor, tranny, and t-case this weekend. Should be ready to roll by then. :) Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Apeters and I will have to be there to see this. Really though, you can drive about anywhere out there. some of the obstacles are a little tough for the daily drivers, but there's usually at least something to keep you entertained.

only if your a drunken asshole in a rig not capable enough to take you where you were going at midnight and I think you deserve to be taught a lesson for being a complete asshole. And if you owe me money for the work I did to your rig, then I'm definetly charging you. I can't believe the"I'm jumping on the bandwagon, this guy's a douchebag because the second poster said he was" response I got. I originally just asked a question, and got 200 people that don't know me calling me an asshole. If your being funny, I'm laughing with you. If your still calling me a dick, then:mad2::flipoff2::shaking: and I hope I do run into you stuck. Does your rig say 4544x4 so I'll know its you??!! So, how can you be Willymutt without the Willy's body? :) Sent a text to Travis the other day. I picked up my t-case and adapter yesterday, so I'll be putting it with the motor and tranny and stabbing it this weekend! Then, just building the cage and installing the rest of the steering. Should be ready to roll by then! Can't wait! :) Here's a pic so far. I probably won't have the bodywork done before the run.

You can go a lot of places and see the bigger rigs wheel. You won't be able to drive around in the trails as much but there is even some back in there for you.

It is about 3 1/2 to 4 hours from Wichita depending on how fast you drive and which way you go. I'm headed down there through Winfield so I can pick the wife up from school but have found going 400 is a little quicker.

Anybody in the Broken Arrow area have any deep understanding of LS Gen III motors? I got one I can't get to fire off and no clue where to start. Wiring harness was redone before i bought it. We've got fuel, we've got power, it turns over, but will not fire. I'm trying to get going for the BMR, but dammit, things like this keep happening.

Any help appreciated. Fridge is full of beer!!! :flipoff2:

I'm no expert by any means, but since you know you're getting fuel and you know you've got air, there's only spark to narrow down. iirc the CPS plays a huge role in that process.
