Does anyone know the gear ratio in a 2L Vitara and 2.5 L GV with a manual tranny? My "never knowing any details about what we service" local Suzuki dealer couldn't answer this Q.

Thanx bill, I did some searching and I only found info from 4 Wheeler road test on a 2.5 G Vitara that included the gear ratio of 4.88 and a T case reduction number of 1.86.

It's interresting that both: the 2.5 V 6 and a 2.0 I4 come wiyh the same rear end ratio...
It bothers me that the T case reduction is stil 1.816.
