The 2.5 does not eat transmissions. But yes your trans is at best OK with the 2.5. You can upgrade later to the AX-15 which is from a 4.0. You just need to get a dodge bell housing, dakota. But then you got to change the transfer case. Yeah I run a 97 TJ 2.5 with stock trans and transfer, It has not givin me any issues, I will also run it until it dies, I will then look at the SM465. On a side note, I am in Morganton, Shoot me a PM sometime and we go wheel. | |
