Top pick is Harlan KY, that place is great! The bottom pic is some private land in Iowa, its owned by the make it or break it offroad club. Its a fun place, nothing extreme, but the trails are fun, and make for some enjoyable wheeling!

I hope to; is there a chosen date yet? Got a few repairs I have to do first...snapped my trac bar. Waiting on a local supplier to get back to me with parts costs.

Brian, are you into bogging or do you just join up for the playdays? I'm finding I'm much more into the farting around all day thing rather than bogs...to darn much work, not enough fun! Plus I'm not gonna destroy my playday capabilities in order to purpose build a bogger...so I'll never win. :bawling:

BTW, my wife wants to see your cat someday!

My rig is built for the trails... I really don't care for the drags or bog, well sometime the bogs. They want to have more play days this year. They
have one scheduled for 3/8 at the land outside galesburg and sandy oaks in april. I told them they need to take the land in galesburg and modify it more
for more of a challege. The back part they could dig a few holes and make so inclines on the creek side. They need to make a easier entrance to get in there too. Instead of the huge hills that lead down in there. I will be making a few more interesting trails of my own in march. Hope to see ya there.

Work has me down in the Decatur area this week and next Monday and Tuesday. Let me know if you need some shop help in the evening either this week or early next week. It's amazing to see in some of the west coast regional forums how strong the the offroad community can become and how a handful of weekend warriors can knock out some of these full-on builds in a short amount of time. I dont think I can make it to the March ride, still have a lot of little (time consuming) things to button up. I have place we wheel just outside Springfield, in Rochester, about 100 acres and a kick ass time on some Private Land. I am also a member of MudTrutles4x4 club, that mostly wheels Cliff's Insane Terrain. Haven't been able to get up there much since this project started, so I cant wait to get back at it.

This is my 1982 Toyota Rust Bucket that I decided to make into an off-road vehicle. So with alota help this is what we did….…… We started by cutting the truck in half and making a full exo-cage with a truggy rear, Then custom four linked the front and rear with Poison Spyder parts, At the corners I have Walker Evens Air Shocks. For axles: Up front: I have a Toyota axle with Longfield Super axles (god I love those….. Bobby Long is Awesome, talk about customer service), Detroit Locker, 4:10’s, and Six Shooter Steering Knuckles. Rear Axle: I have a Toyota axle with a Detroit Locker and 4:10‘s. Engine is a stock 1982 Toyota block with 1989 Fuel Injection and custom snorkel. T-case is a Marlin Ultimate Crawler twin stick with a 190:1 crawl ratio. Drive Shafts are custom made from High Angle Driveline (you can park these shaft on a rock…..they are that tough). I have put custom disk brakes on the rear and a FJ 80 Master Cylinder to stop the 38” tires, Up front I am running TSL SX‘s, and on the rear I have TSL Boggers they are mounted on Eaton 32 Bolt Beadlocks. For steering I have Full Hydraulic Steering by PSC with a huge 2.5” bore ram, PSC pump as well as their Orbital Valve, Cooler and Reservoir. I am running a Superwinch Epi 9000 winch up front and a Superwich GT 3000 in the rear. I have mounted 8 KC lights on the cage. All powered by 2 Optima Blue Top Batteries. On the inside of the cab I have made a custom dash cover with all my switches for the lights, starter, etc (nothing to special) . Two APC racing seats with RCI Platinum 5 point harness’s and of course I have tunes in the form of a JVC CD player with an Ipod pumping out sound thru Bose speakers. So………that’s my rig. I also want to tell you that there is no way that this could have ever been built without my Brothers in Mud “The Mud Mafia” : Mikey, Nate Dogg, Jeffro, Scotty and my Dad. Gotta love the Mud Mafia (oh and my wife she has the money lol)

thanks it works. the only problem i have with it is the spring hangers (just haven't ramped them yet) and i need to rebuild the shackle mounts to get rid of those damn revolvers that you can't see in that pic.
