I am located in Pine Bush New York 12566 or as its known the tri state area NY PA NJ. Well here is the deal, I have up for sale a small block 350CI Chevy. I'm asking $4000 OBO for the motor. The price is negotiable and I am open minded to all offers. However no extreme low balling please. I will ship if necessary but buyer must arrange shipping process and is responsible for costs involved with shipping. I will work with you as much as I can but aware the price above doesn't include shipping costs. I would prefer someone local on in the area of PA CT NJ NY to buy this motor to cut the cost of shipping out of the equation, on that note I will meet you half way or work out something of the sort. The reason I am selling this motor is due to body work costs and school bills. Unfortunately my school bills have dipped into my car funds and I'm still working on the body of this car right now; patching holes, cleaning rust, cutting floors, you know how it can go. The car wont be done till im out of college in another 4 years, so its not going anywhere for awhile and I need to get some bills paid. I have listed pictures and a video of me pulling it out of the garage so you can get a feel for whats up for sale. The only 2 things that will not come in the sale are the A/C components and the headers. The buyer will also get all paperwork on motor ( very detailed pictures of receipts from summit racing in pictures bellow ). I feel that I am asking a reasonable starting price on this set up the motor cost $4800 bucks new. I have order respite and all paperwork to go with the motor. The motor is a Summit Racing complete crate engine package; as in turn key and go. This motor was bought back in 2005 when the owner of the car started the restoration. The motor has a Holly 650 carb on it, Edelbrock low rise performer intake, All aluminum heads with 67cc chambers 200 intake runners, Comp Cam 272 intake 272 exhaust, 454 lift camshaft, Weiand high performance water pump, Accel HEI distributor, moroso oil pan, stock bore, stock stroke, 9.5 to 1 compression. The motor has less then 5500 miles on it and runs awesome. I have never had a problem with starting it on a cold morning or after running it on a trip to the car show, AKA Heat Soak. When I bought the car I made sure that the motor was running to optimum performance and had the car dyno tuned, made sure jetting of the carb was correct, timing, extra extra. My car made 356 horse power and 385 pound feet of torque at the rear wheels. Everything is set on this motor as far as timing and jetting of the carb. You can drop this in and go or work it over with dual quads and a stroker kit or what ever you please. the motor right now as it stands is a great all around performance platform with TONS of room for improvement. I myself have played around with the idea of working it over by boring it out to a 383 or 400 SBC. I just don't have the time right now and really need to get the body work done and some other bills paid. Here is a vid of the car moving and running and all that good stuff.
