Where is a good place to start looking (years, 5 lug or 8 lug) to find a drive line with factory 1330 u-joints, lenght doesnt really matter cuz its gonna get cut down anyway? Its for a 2001 Nissan Frontier that im putting a ford 44 out of a 1979 bronco with the matching 9inch.

F-250s went to 1330s about '77, but I'm not sure exactly when. F-150s and Broncos got 1330s in '79.
So '79 and newer is a safe bet.

Pretty much everything fullsize 80-86 is going to have 1330's, later and you start getting into some oddball stuff, and the BB/Diesel stuff was 1350.

79 was the transition year that the Bronco and f150 went to 1330 joints, so you have to look because the 1310 joints were still used some in 79. Also keep in mind you can just buy the 1330 yokes for your diffrent needs (but you will have to buy diffrent seals in some cases). Hope this helps.
if you are unfamiliar with fords, fair warning ford has it's own 1330F, caps are 1/16" larger then a 1330

I've got a tom woods shaft with a 1330 non cv(t-case) on one end and a 1350 non cv(axle) on the other. I've got a 1330 CV that you could replace the 1350 with, cut 1350 off and weld 1330CV on If its long enough and you want the shaft with the 1330 cv its yours for the right price.
Even got the 1330 CV style yoke from a BW 1345 if ya needed that. 31 spline if i remeber corretly. found it in denver.

I'm pretty sure '78 was the transition year because I've seen 1310 and 1330 in '78s but have never seen a 1310 in a '79.
Good point on buying a yoke, ebay is loaded with them. Also you could use a conversion joint, 1310X1330.
