Does anybody know when Jeep changed the speedo wires in the T-case? I'm thinking of swapping in a 241 OR in place of my 231 and heard some people say that had some issues with the speedometer connection. I have a 97 and was wondering if it was a direct bolt in, I saw on pirate 4x4 that a guy with an 01 XJ bolted it in with no problem. Is there a cut off date when they switched or could someone post a pic up of the two so I could compare to mine. Thanks for any info!!! :D :D

I actually just did this swap on Saturday into my 98 TJ. The plugs will connect directly into the factory harness and will run the speedometer but its set up for 4.10 gears and stock tires. Here is a cheap interface I was thinking about running....
