thought this looked pretty trick.

i'm starting to appreciate clean body work like the inside of those fenders more and more as my project goes along. that must be expensive as hell to take something to the next level of fabrication like that. thats alot of time.

So who has made a similar hood on your own and what did you use to do it? I was thinking of possibly buying some fenders from a trailer supply store and trimming them up, welding them on, and painting them. Any other ideas? I like the idea of this hood, but would rather not do the fiberglass and the price....

And nothing looks better than a rig like that getting some scratches and getting it on. I will admit I like your rig better even if the red bars look pink on the digicam:laughing: The seats in the orange YJ look big pimpin' I want those for sure.

The fab work was done by/under Randy Ellis when he was at 4 Wheelers Fab Shop. The vehicle has an interesting story behind it I hear. The Jeep sat at 4 Wheelers for over a 1.5 years rusting after Randy did the fab work.

Yes, Randy does great fab work - that's why he did mine.:) :)

You can get the fiberglass hood at Four Wheelers and from Campbell.

Anybody know who actually makes the fiberglass hood for them?

Also, Advanced Frameworks makes a plastic copy of the rock crawler hood which is much less expensive.
