i have a 94 isuzu rodeo that someone put a carb im assuming from an s10 and it runs like crap it seems to be starving for fuel and it also seems to be stuck in gear when foot not on clutch but in neutral. i can shift through gears fine and smooth but for some reason when its in neutral it still trys to go and both drivelines spin. but i also have 3/4 ton chevy running gear under it with 37in swampers should i go v8 350 maybe anyone out there have somethin similar that they could help me with. thanks

If you have that running gear under there already, you're either handy with fab or know someone who is. Buy a wrecked 4x4 S10, put the whole drivetrain in your Rodeo and get back to 'wheeling :grinpimp:

i am handy with fab and mechanics but am new to the isuzu breed, especially when it is a mut per say but i am just looking for the easiest most effective way to get her up and running.

well i am just looking for some info from someone who may have had similar problems. i didnt know if it was because the car now being a carburator instead of fuel injected(throttle bodie) was screwing with the computer. and i was just throwing my ideas of what i could or would do if it seemed feasable to do and cost effective. i have no problem with fab work so i am open to suggestions. but that being said if it is going to be easy to fix the problem currently and i will be ok for power with the 3.2 litre then i will keep that in it.

and as for the tranny i just need suggestions because it seems all wrong to me. so all of the above lol

I don't think the 3.2 ever came with throttle body injection,the 2.8 and 3.1 did,post a pic of engine,I'd like to see a 3.2 with an intake capable of throwing a carb on it.
