heat soak on starter [Archive]

Alright, i know there was a post about this sometime ago, i searched heat soak, and starter nothing really, but i also didin't look long. Well it's hot in the south and the starter is working hard, is there a way to put the solenoid somewhere to stay cooler or do yall guys that have this same problem already have an easy solution?? I am also asking this question, b/c my friends van is having the same problem and were down in college and poor and just need to fix this stuff. I know it's kinda a newbie questioin, but i need to fix my scout and his van soon and need yall;s quick solution.
