I might buy my brother-inlaws 99 GT Mustang back from the insurance company for $4,000. The car is twisted from hitting a curb and sits 1/2 inch lower on the passanger side rear. BUT the doors still open fine and everything and a body shop I know can get it alot straighter. It has 16,000 miles on it <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Anyhow......

I've surfed around trying to find someone who makes a 4 point roll bar for it, and I'm wondering if any of you have had any exerience with any makers and could give me a refferal? Also, whats the going price $250-?

Anyone......

i bought one of the kits that you can get from the magazine(before i new better)
what a joke i had to re-bent the front bars
and unless you slouch like i do your head is mighty close to the bar
but it did stiffen up the chassis alot and handles alot better now

and best of all it looks cool

Autopower is probably your best bet for a premade 4 point, and with a simple bar, you will not have many fit problems. It's when you get into the cages that fit becomes a serious issue. In my first Mustang, I began with an AutoPower 4 point, and then as the speeds increased (and the car became a track car) I added to it. Go get yourself a copy of GrassRoots Motorsports magazine, and you will find a ton of companies that make bolt in bars/cages/etc.
