I've got a customer telling me he can't install a 80's model ford front 60 in his jeep because there's not enough room on the drivers side to mount a coil spring. I've seen it done before. Can someone give me a picture so I can show him what it looks like? Maybe a closeup of the axle - spring mount? Thanks!

Try looking here... (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=578353&highlight=ultimate+tj)
You will likely find all you need there. Otherwise you can have him sell it, and buy something in the for sale section...

After a few PM's with you and searching here on the PBB I also went with a 88 HP60. Found it local and it was pretty cheap for a 60.

I find this so funny, as my TJ sits outside with an 88 Ford 60 fullwidth with coils springs (not coil overs), 3- link with panhard , hi-steer and basically the works like every other jeep on pirate.
This argument comes up almost weekly and has almost reached the internet myth status of pipe vs. Dom.
I find it so amusing!
