Does everyone just buy them directly from http://www.cageoffroad.com/ for the $845 or are there any distributors who have better prices?

To be honest i cant remember where i bought mine from but it was a dealer, i believe they were out of Florida. I did call Cage them selves with questions on the frame mounts. The dealer was pushing the heavier frame mounts and i wanted to verify that they were constructed better. Cage was very helpful and i did opt for the stronger frame mounts. With shipping it was around $900 all together.

There's a different frame mount? Why wouldn't they just sell 1 type? Meaning the stronger ones being the 1 type..

How long did it take to make and ship to you guys? I'll be ordering ours in about a week and am trying to schedule when I can start pulling off the TTB on our bronco to get the SAS going.. I have someone who really wants our lift kit and I'd hate to lose a sale.. I'll let it sit in the driveway with no front end if I have to. :grinpimp:

I bought the Duff fullsize kit and it was around $700 and it has all the cross member tie in brackets.

Looking at the cage kit online didn't show all the brackets necessary.

duff and cage arms are designed by Jim @ cage offroad.

the duff arms are the old design, with no caster built and a few other minor changes IIRC. As jim is the designer, I would rather buy from him. his service has always been great for me.

the diferent mounts are either for C channel or box tube frames, that is the only difference. The c channel ones cover larger area and are better for you spectre.

Ah.. So they are made by the same person.

Just sucks there's no real options with the radius arms..

Factory arms with drop brackets.. It works, but not very well
Duff arms. Old style. Waste of money
Cage arms. From what I've seen they're the way to go.. Just $845 is a whole lot of money..

Originally the Cage Arms were designed for the early Broncs and they built a small weld on frame bracket. But they found for the full size trucks the bracket was shearing off the frame and/or getting twisted under flex. They built a much heavier bracket that will take alot more stress. The brackets for the tranny crossmember are already included in the kit. The Cage Arms are a good 10-12" longer than stock arms so they dont tie back into the crossmember as a stock arm does. If i remember correctly i had the arms in about a weeks time from ordering them.

Awesome..

Just waiting for the stupid Federal refund to hit my account then the first thing I'm doing is ordering the radius arms..

I just wanted to use the factory ones because he are just using the bronco for light trails and mud.. Not crawling with it so the articulation factor doesn't really matter. However the wife is all about asthetics and wants the radius arms to "look" bad ass.

Call Dustin at Sexton Off-Road and tell him you were referred by Summit Machine. I can't guarantee anything, but it's worth a shot.

I found a dealer on Ebay and saved about $50 compared to going through Cage directly.
