I have a Performance Vortec V6 in my S10. It has the one injector instead of 2. I had some problems with my fuel managment hoses, they were getting eaten away and were spraying everything. So I had them replaced with thicker fuel lines and hose clamps. Now as I started driveing about a month later, when I fired it up it sounded like it missed, but as I would floor it it would get better like it was the injector. Well it kepted getting worse and worse, it would smoke and smell like gas real bad. Finally I started it in my driveway once and I stepped on the gas and the truck didnt move. Gas was coming from the egzaust (maybe water?) it realy smelled like gas bad. But I tried to move it out of the driveway and it would barely back out. Now it doesnt realy want to start. Think Injector? Someone said headgasket. Were should I start??

Do a compression check. That should give you an idea if it's the head gasket. If not, can you unplug one injector at a time and see if it gets better? You might also be able to start it up, shut it down and quickly pull some plugs and see if one is wet.
