Sorry for the stupid question, but I googled and just needed some confirmation. I found a Ford srw extended cab pickup at a boneyard with a straight front axle and coil springs. The truck is torched, I mean really torched, the tires are flat and there is a foot of snow on the ground. I can see that it has locking front hubs. I don't know how it happened but the front coil springs are laying in the bed so the truck is laying right on the bumpstops. The rear axle is a disc braked sterling. Engine is a gasser. What is the first year of the coil spring truck? It looks to me like it was 08 or 09. What are the most likely gears? Are they still putting Dana 50's in the front? Internally are these axles the same spline count as the leaf sprung unit bearing axles or a whole new animal? I could probably get the matched pair of axles for a few hundred, but I am not sure if I should. If you guys have any links to more info on a ford board somewhere else that would be much appreciated also
