chicagowillie 02-03-2009, 07:43 PM i put my steering to gether and it worked ok then the other day it started acting up.if i jack the front wheels up off the grond it works fine but with the truck on the ground it wont turn unless u idle the motor up.do yall have any ideas on how to fix? Did you make sure your steering pump belt is tight - sometimes thats all it is. chevy79 02-03-2009, 09:46 PM sounds like the pump- check belt tightness, could be a bad/worn out pump, or you need more flow coming from the pump chicagowillie 02-04-2009, 06:13 AM some one said to take out the plunger/valve thing in the back of the pump JohnnyU 02-04-2009, 06:49 AM What are specs on your system?
