Ben W 02-04-2009, 11:10 AM Wow. Those shackles are almost as long as we've been waiting for the Naches 08 video.
Mechanos 02-04-2009, 11:18 AM Redesign the suspension or that thing will shit the axles out from under in on the first speed bump
pennsylvaniaboy 02-04-2009, 11:27 AM hahaha oh the booty fab of some ppl
crashhawk 02-04-2009, 12:26 PM Wow. Just needs some 10in blocks and you're all set. :shaking:
Just a question, how's your health/life insurance? Might want to spend the money you saved on those shackles to step up the coverage.

I think you should start over...:shaking:
ihochad 02-04-2009, 01:46 PM HOLY FUCKIN SHIT!! Stop what you are doing immediately!!! My head hurts just looking at that cluster fuck. Seriously stop it.
Edit: Just noticed your location. Please disregard my previous statement. By all means continue!

jpeater 02-04-2009, 02:56 PM After seeing this unique piece of fabrication I had a flash back, so I dug through some old photos and voila!!! I took these at Barnwell Mountain outside of Gilmer Texas a few years ago, he was on his 'shake down run' and thankfully not associated with any of us other Scout folks ... he just showed up coincidentally.

Had some sort of diesel in it, probably needed it to haul those bumpers around.
Jeff3fg 02-04-2009, 03:40 PM I'm new to this site, and I just got the thing, everything done to it is how i got it. All i've done is strip the body and throw the rocs under it, just to get some ideas. The truck is just sitting on the axles as you can see, and yes, those mile long shackles are going. I was looking for new ideas.
chris fresh 02-04-2009, 04:12 PM nice!!!!!!!!!!!better leave the chain on it,your gonna need it to get it on the wrecker
levi1a 02-04-2009, 04:36 PM Before you take that thing out to wheel include me in your will. I want the rockwells. :flipoff2:. Seriously you need to study up before you move any further. Mech is right the first time you hit a bump those springs are fuct. And for god sakes get rid of those shackles.

Look,
I just bought it the week before the North TX binders meet and I just threw the rockwells under it to make the meet.
It didn't stay that way.
I sold it to a guy on pirate and he replaced the perkins diesel with a 350 chevy.
:grinpimp:

I don't care what it has for a motor. I can't get past the sweet fab work and the well casing bumpers. Only in Texas.....:shaking:
levi1a 02-04-2009, 07:41 PM That is probably why they went with the rockwells. After all that fab they decided they better go with a set of 2 1/2 tons.

Hey RockTractor do those frame rails remind you of the steel girders you weld on?

:mr-t: "Betta paint them inna fendas, sucka!"
Look at adding a track bar front and rear. You need some mega lift springs or push the axle out in front of the oil pan. I would do a lot of searching to see how other spent there money.
