SO about 2 and a half years ago I started a, what I thought then was a simple restoration of a 1949 Jeep Truck. It started off as that, but quickly became half restoration, half build. The half build part was mostly stuff to make it more drivable, like a warn overdrive, radial tires, and other more modern convinces.

I have done 95% of the work myself. I taught myself how to weld, and learned just about everything else by taking it apart and putting it back together. On stuff I didn't know how to do I figured out through people who took the time to show me, or told me what to do.

I have this build also on Jeep Fourm, but I will show ya some of the progress pics.

I am just about ready for paint, the color will be the same color as your Red Craftsman toolbox! I got a Flowmaster 40 Series muffler for it, and soon am going to buy Corbeau Baja SS seats for it. I also applied bed coating on both sides of the floor, and have plans to make half doors.

I hope to be finished with it by this coming spring, but who knows, I might have it done before then!

Visit my you tube channel! I have a few videos of the thing their also! www.youtube.com/lifesgoodhere
