ok so heres a list of what i have done so far.

05 LJ
33 tires and MT wheels. 4.88's in the rear 44 and front 30. front tube fenders, rokmen TT, riddler covers, ome steering stablizer, currie antirok and steering system. RRC bumpers and roker guards. sye, cv shaft. RE 4.5 SA, RE front and rear adj track bars.

ok so for my long term goal.
the jeep is no longer my DD so i can pretty much do what i want to it. i do want to keep it street legal for a bit since i dont have a trailor and prolly get one anytime soon. eventually i want it to be a semi hardcore crawler. i know ill be needing the rest of the armor and plan on getting a full cage. what im more looking at next is going to be getting some 37's. so im looking for some serious options for some really strong axles to put them on. also i understand that new brakes and stuff will be needed also. i know that you get what you pay for but i still dont want to spend my life savings but i want some very good stuff.

Is there a question here? You want to upgrade and you want us to tell you what to spend your money on? You could spend it on my jeep and I will send you the pictures of it wheeling, that way you won't need a trailer and yours will still be streetable... try the search feature...and read. You are going to get answers here that range from burn it and start over to putting rockwells under it...good luck and remember the burn cream.

The Cheapest way to achieve a HardCore rig, is to buy someone elses rig, either last years comp buggy, or someones dumped a ton into thier rig and got layed off at work, tons of rigs for sale way cheaper than you could build, especially if you are new to the sport. you can always change it up the way you want it. otherwise hand over your lifee savings..Ive done it a few times, cause I like the building process too much.

better spend it now, a couple years from now, your life savings won't buy a hamburger and a tank of gas. (oops, sorry)

Buy a plasma cutter, tubing bender and a mig welder. Quit your job and lock yourself in your shop for 6 weeks with your rig. Afterwards you will have a "hardcore" rig, assuming you don't go completely crazy.

wow didnt realize that asking a simple question of what the better axle combinations out there were would turn into a show of lack of help and pretty stupid replys. thought asking the hardcore guys who would have the experience would be the best thing to do. since the purpose of these forums is to get alot of wheelers together and have a place to share experiences. thanks guys. too alot of your hopes, wont be returning to this forum anytime soon.

That's why there is a "Newbies beware" warning on this section. You could have had the question answered flame free in the non-hardcore section. If you can't handle the replys then it's probably best if you stick to the non-hardcore section. Even the hardcore guys get razzed around here.

wow didnt realize that asking a simple question

Problem number 1.

since the purpose of these forums is to get alot of wheelers together and have a place to share experiences.

Listen, information needs to be organized to make it easier to find specific answers, but I guess not searching you wouldn't know that. You do organize your tools to make them easier to find don't you? Well the info on this forum is no different. This is not hardcore so it doesn't belong in the hardcore section. You probably got no response in non-hardcore because you didn't search. Axle swaps are incredibly common. There is tons of info there just waiting for you to find. Try looking a little harder.
