abc supply is located at 2710 R street in sacramento http://www.abcsupply.net/home.nxg . i have gotten good prices from one sales person then a week later another wanted to charge me three times what i payed the last time. i came back an hour later and talked to the first sales person and got the same good price i got a week ago. they carry dom and lots of other materials and shapes.

i only use c&c if i need something on a saturday or a short cut of something since they are the closest. i don't think they stock dom. they have a cool yard to wonder around in if you are looking for that something but don't know what.

Today I went down to ABC Steel and bought a stick (20') for 3.98 a foot. I thought that was a pretty decent price, I called Team Tube and they were in the mid 4's. I didn't expect and special deals for such small quantity but I am happy with the price.

No worries, funny thing is I actually forgot where I ended up buying mine when I posted. I found a place even cheaper than metalsupermakerts for small amoutns of tube. Its an online place, I got the same amount of tube and plate steel shipped to my house for like 10 bucks cheaper then metal supermarkets. Its called onlinemetals.com, check it out. That place is sweet. Oh and if you sign up for an account, you get 10% off your first purchase ;) hows that for info.

Another note that you might consider is to get your 1.75 in 1.20 wall so in the event that you want to change something, you can put in a 1.5 piece as a slug much easier. I always use tube service but I always buy big. They send it out for $10 and I off load it with my fork lift. If you are in my area I can sell small amounts of tube if peeps are interested. I have a lot of 1.25x.120, and some of 1.75x.095, 1.5x.250,1.75x.120 1.0x.095, 1.5x.120, also 1.0x.250 wall boss material for 1/2 bolts. There is some more stuff in there that I don't remember. All is DOM. I have a price sheet of what I paid for it. IMO good prices.

Where are you buying DOM tubing for that cheap? That price sounds like DOM welded.

That price is likely from Marmont-Keystone. The price is so low because that's not delivered, you have to drive to their facility and pick it up.

fixing to put in an order, like tommorow or thur morning. at 300 ft I can get it at 2.55 a foot. I will be getting atleast 200 ft now. that is 1 3/4" .120 wall dom

I can get 1.75 x .120 wall tube around 3.90 a ft, usually in 20' sticks, let me know if you are interested, that is in the Yuba area north of sac.
