what is the biggest cam possible for the stock rockers on a 351w? i think it is right around .520 lift, but i cant remember

I'd be more worried about spring bind than rocker ratio.

When I built my last SBF, my buddy who did the heads for me said that .510-.520 lift was about max. That was with a set of comp cams springs too.

i got a ton of springs, but need a cam, not looking for anything but power out of a stocker.

all the springs in the world wont do you any good if they are the wrong ones on the wrong heads,seats or valves.

What cam do you plan on running? I would figure out what cam you want and call the manufacturer and tell them what you have and ask if it will work.

your looking for the most power, why don't you step up to a set of full rollers and not worry about the stupis stockers?
