I recently got there new cut50...and after finally bringing out 220v to the garage was able to play!

I love this thing! never used a plasma before so have nothing to compare it to, but have been cutting 3/16" all day...even tried 1/2", which it cut but was a little messy... though I've only been on the machine for a couple days.

Its actually pretty easy to get a handle of.

Glad you like our Cut50D. They are quite handy, not just for cutting, using it to punch holes in steel will save a lot of drill bits. Also removing rusted bolts. They're a must for any size shop in my opinion.

I have the 200 amp MIG. Was hoping for the 250, oh well.

Will be taking it to a local shop this weekend to let them use it for a couple weeks. I will see if I can get them to join and post a review or put a link to a review. There is no cutter in the MIG product, but it has MMA/arc. And you can reverse the positive and negative and do aluminum.

I will try to post results and pictures soon. I've only used it a couple times on 1/4" steel.

Just wanted to post up and say I was very impressed with the cut 50 I bought from Alex. It recieved within 3 days from my order. I used it to cut sheet metal all the way up to 1/2" and no problems. I had proabably close to 10 hrs. on the first set of consumables before I changed them and that was a lot of hacking rusty metal and painted surfaces. Great product for the price guys. Here are some pics.:D The tube is 1 3/4" .120 that I split with the plasma torch to slip up over the sheet metal. One pass made a tight fitting slot.

I purchased the ACDC 200 tig on April 8th received it on April 16th.
Pros:
Light 50 lbs or so.
Pulsed lots of dials.
Digital readout.
Low amps I think I will make an extension cord.
Worked without issue so far.
Big Metal foot pedal you can adjust the max amps on. (Very Happy)
(I thought it would vary the entire range this is a nice feature)
Very Bright Yellow hard to trip over. I think they need to put a smiley face on them.
Did not cost 3000 dollars.
Cons:
Knob to adjust max amps controlled by foot pedal is on the foot pedal.
Giant Tig torch handle.
Kind of cheesy packing (mine arrived ok though)
Ground lead sort of short.
One of the tiny screws that hold on the torch control socket was in the bottom of the torch bag. Lucky I saw it easy fix.
Manual needs a tech writer bad.
