89 1500 4x4 w/ 35" tires

Sorry for the noobish post but I am getting frustrated trying to find someones spare tire carrier design to copy:laughing: I am only finding what the blazer guys are doing but nothing on what the truck crowd is doing.

I can't/won't just toss the spare in the truck bed due to needing the space for hauling stuff.

Are there any truck guys here who have built a fullsize spare carrier that does not compromise bed space? Yes, I have searched here and ck5. FSC came off as a bit softhardcore. lol

Blazer design should work for a truck more or less. Some assemby/modification may be needed.

i used one from a dodge ramcharger/trailduster. only a few minor mods but it worked.

Check out the tire gate web site. They got one design that slips into a hitch reciever. Im takin their design and welding the steel to my bumber instead of it pluggin into my hitch.
