hey guys i need some help..
i have an 81 chevy c10 with a 383 stroker. we dropped the engin in and i didnt have a starter for it, so we pushed started it and ran in for like ten minuts.truck ran fine except bad altanter.it ran the battery real low.
today i bought a new starter and altanater and put them in. but no matter what i do i cant get the damn truck to start.its getting fuel fine. we jumped it and charged the battery but it dtill didnt have enough power to turn over...so i hooked it upto my dads truck and drug it around hoping it would start when my dad droped the clutch..did that for about 15 mins and the truck will not start..
i wanna say its an wiring problem but im not sure what todo with it now..i went threw my wiring and everything lookes hooked up..

do any of yall have any sugestions on what i should do?

sounds like either a ground, or potentially a blown fuseable link in the charging system. make sure you've got everything grounded really well. And chasing down fusable links is a major PITA!
