Yes, the springs are the same part, Skyjacker lists the same springs for both trucks, which I find kind of odd due to the drasticly different stock spring rates, so either the F250 rides really nice with them, or they're built to the F250 spring rate and an F350 will be a kidney bruiser with them.

As a general rule, the spring rate on a stock TTB leaf spring is about 1.5-2x that of a stock solid axle spring due to the way they load the spring individually and don't share the load across the axle like a solid axle does.
That's why the front end of my wheelin pig has zero flex and it rides like absolute crap....

ive been in a ttb with a 6" skyjacker and a 350 - it lifts the ttb truck 6" and the 350 6" - but the 350 will be 1.5-2" taller ( just like from the factory ) due to the springs compressing more from the leverage on the ttb

they must have found a spring rate between the two
the ttb was ok but the 350 was stiffer

Don't worry, you're not the only one who caught it ;)

After reading his explination I understand his theory, true or not, it is something I am deffinately going to look into.

I've replaced many a stock spring on F-250 & F-350 trucks, never noticed a difference between the two springs,
