Good job on getting the latest one done, my oldest son doesn't care for working in the shop and the youngest is starting to show interest so hopefully I can get stuff done faster now?

in the beginning, maybe not done any faster HAHHAHA but they do learn and are good help if you are patient . I have had them out in the shop since they could walk, so mine had a head start on most kids.

Thanks! Yeah it's a completely hand fabricated body based off an actual H1's dimensions, slightly tweaked to my specs. I started with a TremorMUV planset and then modified from there. It wasn't built for any one type of wheeling. I was simply going for a great all around wheeler that could handle the trails, keep up in the rocks and possibly see some mud :shaking:(hate the clean up). It's not going to be able to climb like a moon buggy or mud bog like a dedicated rig, but it should keep up for the most part.

The green buggy is what my 15 year old son drives, he was scaring the shit out of me in his jeep so it was time to spend some money. Then there is the "handjob" I bought the jeep painted like that but it was completely stock until about 2 weeks before rocktoberfest. I stripped my old one down and put it into this one that is an auto and still has a/c. Oh yeah bought the buggy off of here out of Knoxville, thanks Gary your right it is awesome.

Stats: TBI 350, TH400, 203-205 twin sticked, Dana 60 35 spline chromo's, 14bolt, setting on 44inch TSL's, 4 link rear on coil springs, 54 inch leaves up front, both welded, full hydro steering, cutting brake for the rear axle. bobbed bed, fully boxed frame, and seats out of a 98 chevy with fold down console. Still have a lot to do, boatside, slight dovetail (maybe), might just let it clearance itself, bumpers front and rear, and mount my winch.

How the hell do cutting brakes work with a welded rear diff?

Or do you plan for an ARB someday.

It locks both back brakes at the same time. Just one cutting brake. Probably doesn't work as good as if I could unlock the diff and just use the brake on one side but it still works pretty good. And it's a lot of fun to play with. I use it a lot on down hills. And I have rear disc brakes.
