Here are some shots of the front fender work. The outside of the fenders were munched so they were trimmed with a wheel cutter and then a 1/2" mild steel rod was bent to match. That was welded to the existing fender and then some plastic to smooth it out.

I was able to weld the rod to the upper fender stiffner, which really made the whole assembly pretty darn solid.

Nice work!!!! It will be interesting to see how the 1/2" rod reacts in the rocks.
