Anyone have an idea of where the transmission stabilizer bushing is supposed to go? My cj5 did not come with one when I got it but I was told it would help save my tranny mount. I am just not sure where to install it. Any thoughts / pictures would be helpfull.

If your talking about the two rubber discs that mount on either side of the tranny mount on the 10-12 inch metal bar between the skid plate and the mount, I wouldn't really worry about them.

Get yourself one of those "energy suspension" poly mounts and put that in there. I've got my 465 mounted to the skid plate with just one of these and it runs fine. The poly isnt going to break anytime soon and so what if it does, go spend 10 bucks and get another.:p

Get a book we can't show you where it goes if you don't have any reference.. there is a bar that should be mounted to you traany mount abut 10 inchs long it goes on that.
