Anyone know what the part number for the bushing that fits inside the bottom of the panhard rod bracket (below the steering box) and the pin that comes off the steering box itself. I am not looking for the bushings for the panhard rod itself though.

Thanks for the info,

Bill

ps. I already looked in the dealer parts manual, and it clearly shows the parts in question, but lists no bushing part number (or that it exists for that matter).

Ah Bill,

Trying to track down the illusive part that doesn't exist. Try retrofitting a muffler bearing.

In all seriousness, there isn't a bushing there at all it "floats". The verticle movement of bracket is controled by the two bolts to the frame. The rod that comes from the PS box is there just to control only horizontal movement. The first time I encountered it on my truck, I thought it was odd as well.

You were right. We just checked on KC's D90 and there is no bushing. Just frickin rust and air.

rust and air eh?

Sounds like a typical LR bushing to me!

I'll get Cooper working on an upgrade ASAP.
