i am looking for a place to install another oil pressure sending unit in my 2004 chevy 5.3 . maybe i could put a tee in the back of the motor with the factory one if some one nows what thread it is. it is not 3/8 because i tried it already.

thanks shawnRemove the factory sender at the back its not need by the PCM. This is easy, just place your sender in the oil cooler block off plate above the filter. It has an angled port in it that most tap and add their sender their.

If your using the oil cooler than you'll have to use the stock location and its pretty easy to get to. The hole in the back of he block is 16 by 1.5 metric. There are adapters to AN but its just as easy to tap the oil cooler port cover as above.

i think i will tap the oil cooler block off plate. that should work out perfect. thank you very much for the help!
