I posted this in the General Chat area and damn near got crucified by the butthurts. :D

Shifter came with my junk. It seems to jump track every once in a while and not work. Before today, I could always get it back in groove with a screw driver and some tweaking. This time it is furked...

The shifter handle or post will move freely with no ratchet. The bottom pin is out of place. It is like the gear is too far forward. I have pictures.

How can I fix this? Anybody have a Truck megashifter they want to get rid of? Anybody want this POS? Anybody ever use the B&M Unimatic?

Damn, I tossed a junk truck megashifter awhile back you could have had. What a POS that was.

That was pretty much my experience with that shifter as well.

Art-Carr. I love it.

New Art Carr, or old? I understand that Art Carr doesn't really own Art Carr anymore, and have been a little dubious about the new shifters....

I believe thats from the current company then. Good to know that they are still top notch.

I had an older B&M ratchet type of shifter that used to jam on me often. The fix I found was to pour beer on it. I think it was thirsty.

Yup, Here is the REAL Art Carr http://www.cpttransmission.com/
Art himself answers the phone and is a great man to do business with. I jumped hoops with the Idiots that carry his name now and never will I bother with them again:mad3: Long story but in the end Art himself Rebuilt and re stalled a convertor I bought from him 9 years ago for nothing when I called to order a new one. Take the quick silver off and adjust it correctly, Mine has worked flawlessly for 3 years now.
